Lonna Field has been a familiar face at Redeemer Center for Life since her year serving as their Youth Program Coordinator through Lutheran Volunteer Corps. After she wrapped up her LVC service year, she stayed on Redeemer's staff for several years and continued living in North Minneapolis. Now she is the Program Coordinator for the Christensen Center for Vocation at Augbsurg University and an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Check out our interview with her to learn more about how her year at Redeemer impacted her understanding of racism and privilege, the similarities and differences between North Minneapolis and the rural Iowa town where she grew up, and her love of playing the trombone!
"Raw" is written by Joe Davis and performed by Joe Davis and the Poetic Diaspora. Visit JoeDavisPoetry.com for more.
