Randy and I discuss his company's Q4 2020 National Net Lease Report and specifically why cap rates in the big box sector decreased from the fourth quarter of 2019 to the fourth quarter of 2020. Randy gives his take on the 2021 net lease landscape along with the new Presidential Administration's potential impact on the 1031 exchange market.

Randy is a senior commercial real estate executive with over 30 years of experience focused on advisory services in the single tenant net lease sector. He has led The Boulder Group to a top 10 company national ranking for single tenant retail transactions by both CoStar and Real Capital Analytics from 2010-2020.

Randy has worked with net lease companies on both the advisory and principal sides that have been involved in over $6 billion in single tenant transactions and he is currently the Chair of the Net Lease Summit Conference.

In 2014, 2019 and 2020 Randy received Honorable Mention for Net Lease Executive of the Year by Commercial Property Executive magazine and in 2018, Randy was inducted into RE Journals Real Estate Magazine's “Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame”.
