Episode 7: When Someone Close to You Loses Their Baby
How do you support someone who is close to you without being triggered yourself?
The statistics of miscarriage is 1 in 4 and stillbirths occur 1 in 100 pregnancies. Chances are you will have someone in your circle that will suffer a loss and look to you for support.
But how can you do it without getting triggered yourself?
That's the hard part...
Here are some ideas:
1. Don't say the things...(you know the things..)
2. Say Something!
3. Share your story with them
4. Offer Help
5. Give a special gift
6. Have compassion for yourself
Whether or not you have had a loss yourself, this is great advice for anyone who is supporting someone through a loss.
