Kristyan Stjerne is a surfer, yogi, captivating artist, muse and purveyor of good vibes and kindness. He simply beams. Kristyan was a previous guest dating all the way back to episode #51 in which we recorded in the dark, by the cliffs of Uluwatu in Bali, on the evening of Nyepi- the Balinese new year. Moreover, this was literally a couple of days before the industrial and commercial world broke into a pandemic of hysteria in which world leaders seamlessly capitalised, closing boarders, applying curfews and imposing social distancing regulations...all under the cloak of a necessary “new normal”. Enmeshed with little resistance from a fearfully obedient, confused, face-mask wearing and hand-sanitising public, the result for many is economic ruin, loss of livelihood, mental illness, family breakdown, poverty and starvation at global levels not seen before. All while a mainstream-media monkey rides joyfully on the back of it all. In this week's episode, Krystian is with me to check-in, share his experiences, challenges and hopes for the future.
