Lilac Simple Syrup:

3 cups of lilac florets

2 C Sugar

2C Water. Bring water and sugar to boil. Reduce heat, add washed lilac florets and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cover. Leave to steep for up to 8 hours for a stronger lilac taste. You can add a couple of blueberries to add some color.
