Boundaries. They're usually either missing or misused.
Many of us don't have them - at least not ones we've clearly defined.
Some of us use them as threats to try to control how someone else acts.
Healthy boundaries are NEVER about what someone else needs to do, they're about what YOU will do if your physical or emotional space is violated.
Boundaries are how we can love unconditionally without the fear of being hurt repeatedly -- or becoming someone's doormat.
Unconditional love is such a beautiful thing that brings so much joy and freedom to your life.
But many of us don't allow ourselves to go there because we think we'll end up hurt or taken advantage of.
Or we think we'll condone unacceptable behavior.
Unconditional love doesn't hurt and it doesn't condone - it always feels great and it recognizes we are ALL flawed human beings.
Join me to learn how to create healthy boundaries that allow us to love like God calls us to and never be in fear of our emotional or physical health.
A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. Proverbs 15:1
