In this episode, I’m getting real and personal as I dive into my recent trip to visit my dad. If you've been following me for a while, you probably know that my family and I don’t have the closest relationship. I’ve always been the black sheep, and our family dynamics have been, well, complicated. However, he surprised me this time.

- Surprising Changes in My Dad: After not seeing him for two years, I was bracing myself for the same old lectures and nagging, but see how this trip really surprised me on how he changed. 

-  Huge Life Events As A Catalyst For Change: I talk about how grief can truly change people, even dinosaurs like my dad. The loss of my mom has given him time to reflect in ways I didn’t expect.

- My Airport Reflections: After leaving him, I sat down at the airport to journal and process everything. I share those raw thoughts with you, including the mixed emotions of relief and sadness and my reflections on healing and growth after time apart from family.
