What a weekend for Buffalo sports fans! We break it dow

It's been 2 years but Former UB Wide Receiver and record holder, Alex Neutz, joins us! He talks Bills and UB Bulls football with us and drops some excellent football knowledge all around. Great appearance by Alex.  We then dive into the top 15 NCAA football teams and run through a short preview.

We begin with interviewing with Sabres legends Don Luce and Craig Muni about the new and exciting Fandoozy.com.

We then discuss their careers with them a bit, get Don's opinion on Jimmy Vesey, then we go to drafting the new Vegas expansion team. Don, being the NHL scout that he is, ABSOLUTELY schools us on all 30 NHL depth charts.  Don then tells us an AMAZING and MIRACULOUS story of how he outran the - KGB?! and guess who he did it with!! Please tune in to hear this unreal story at the very least. Absolutely spectacular.

Here we go! We first open the show with a miraculous rant about past bill that is shrouded with nostalgia - we all know how nostalgic we get in Buffalo. Bill says, "Just stop, for the love of God, please, just stop. Part 2 of our Vegas Expansion Draft.  We finish protecting players for about 12-14 teams including our beloved Sabres.  Chris Ostrander of 2InTheBox.com and the Instigator Podcast calls in and gives us his list of Sabres he would protect. Some interesting takes on who the Sabres should protect all around. Next week we will actually go back through and select a team for Vegas!  The most fun part!

We thought it'd be fun to do a mock expansion draft where we assign teams to people and go through protecting and exposing players to Las Vegas and then go back through and select the best possible team for them. Here is part one where we discussed roughly 15 teams and Josh Yohe from, "DK on Pittsburgh Sports" called in and protected Penguins Players for us and JOe Bouley from SB Nation's blog, "Hockey Wilderness" called and did the same for the Minnesota Wild. We recorded at Crabapples Micro Brew Pub on Genesee St in Cheektowaga. We chatted about the extremely interesting Kulikov/Pysyk trade, Stamkos and what he'd mean for the city and future of the Sabres. We also had a "spelling bee" where we tried to spell impossible last names of sports. See who spelled Kuechly TERRIBLE incorrectly.

HI! hehe We're back after a bit of a break. There's not much to talk about this time of year so we went in a bit of a different direction and decided it'd be fun to re-draft the 1st round of an NHL Draft that was a bit interesting in our eyes. We chose the 2007 Draft. We used a bit of a different format though after much debate. We each 'owned' 5 teams and we used this year's draft order and drafted 2007 draftees based on current team needs now. It was a good time and it's a solid show!
