Grindestone Toys is the duo of incredible toy designers, Troy Mckie and John Kukovich. These guys have been in the community for many years and earlier this spring they successfully ran a Kickstarter funding campaign for the first Grindstone brand line, Callsign: Longbow! 

They sat down with A to run through his 10 question gauntlet, providing advice to young designer hopefuls. Then John and Troy spent time with Joel and Jason talking about the business and details of an independent toy company that most people may not see. 

These two are partnering throughout the community of collectors and creatives. They approach their own business and brands with deep intentionality and professionalism. The four talked about preorders, the future, the level of effort after money is accepted, and more.
