Hi friend,
Bringing you a topic today that has been on my list and I am pretty excited about it. If you are someone who exercises, eats a fairly whole foods diet, breastfeeding, or just an active individual in general then you MUST be taking in electrolytes. I have always been one to use electrolytes but I didn't pay attention much to the sodium levels I was consuming. I was NOT getting enough and once I changed what I was using I wouldn't go back. Sodium is an electrolyte mineral that is required for our body to function at it's best and help our body communicate well beneath the surface. It has gotten a bad rap and unless you have medical conditions that would caution you otherwise to seek out professional advice, you probably aren't getting enough. Just drinking water alone will not hydrate you.
