7.31 Podcast Season 2 Episode 4: One of Those Days !
This episode is a littler different because to be honest, I wasn’t in the right state of mind to even record. My energy was off and I felt unmotivated.
It’s normal for us as humans to have moments of not giving our best. Life will throw you curve balls, hurdles, and obstacles that we don’t always understand. We get caught up in the mundane routine and sometimes we just need a break.
This week I need a break, I felt lazy, I felt like I was missing out on so many things. I was trying to run a race I didn’t even have to run. I had to pull myself out of this state of mind and refocus.
In this episode I wanted to share what the steps I took to get myself back together. I hope you’re able to apply the same techniques that I did in order to feel encouraged again.
Black News they didn't teach you in High School!
Tusla Race Massacre - On May 30, 1921, a young Black teenager named Dick Rowland entered an elevator at the Drexel Building, an office building on South Main Street. At some point after that, the young white elevator operator, Sarah Page, screamed; Rowland fled the scene. The police were called, and the next morning they arrested Rowland.
Positive Message of the Week!
Don’t try to run a race that wasn’t meant for you to race. If today isn’t a good day don’t worry because you always have tomorrow.
