The Big Shadow Excerpt:

The night sky was a magnificent sight tonight. It sparkled with countless stars, glittering against a deep blue backdrop. The friendly moon glowed above like a nightlight, and the gentle rustling of leaves and chirping of crickets were like a lullaby. Inside a little tent in a cozy backyard, James and Julia slumbered soundly. They were tucked snugly in their sleeping bags, cocooned in warmth. The air on their cheeks was cool and crisp, in contrast to the summer heat of the daytime.

Gradually, James stirred from a delightful dream. In his dream, he was surrounded by a delightful campfire, roasting marshmallows over the dancing flames and creating the most scrumptious s’mores ever. James’ tummy was still content from the delicious treats he and his family had enjoyed earlier, but now that he was awake, something else was calling for his attention. He needed to go to the bathroom. James opened his eyes and yawned, slowly sitting up in his sleeping bag.

Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating on a cloud, and relax into the feeling of lightness.
