Salvador Sea Lion wants to lead his friend Serena to the big rocks! Will he remember the way?
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 3:58
Sea Lion Swim Excerpt:
On a bright, sunny morning on the Ahway Island beach, Salvador Sea Lion stretched lazily on the sand, letting out a soft yawn. Nearby, his friend Serena lay curled up, resting after their fun swim the day before. Salvador smiled as he thought about all the games they had played in the water, darting through the waves and chasing each other under the sun. But today, they had a new plan. Serena had asked Salvador to show her the way to the big rocks where the older sea lions liked to lounge and play. It was a warm, sunny spot by the shore where they could swim, nap, and enjoy the gentle sea breeze.
Salvador had been to the big rocks many times before with his older siblings. But he had never gone on his own. “Still, how hard could it be?” Salvador thought to himself. He had followed the path so many times. Salvador was sure he could get them there.

Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 9:02
At Work with Mom Excerpt:
A warm glow spilled through Owen’s window as the sun rose. Sensing the time, and eager to get going, Owen hopped out of bed. He zipped over to his closet and grabbed his favorite purple t shirt and a cool pair of pants that would dry fast if the waves splashed him, or it began to rain. Owen wanted to be prepared. He wanted to show everyone his best for his day with mom. All dressed, Owen hurried downstairs to eat breakfast. Mom grinned when she
saw Owen. She bubbled with as much excitement as he did for their day together.
As Owen finished his breakfast his mom asked, “Are you ready to go to work with me?”
Owen beamed at his mom and exclaimed, “Yes! Let’s go!”

Dragon comes across a costume parade at the park! Will Dragon join in?
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 3:55
Dragon’s Costume Parade Excerpt:
A cool wind danced through the trees in the forest. It circled and twirled the red, orange, and gold leaves as they floated to the ground. The soft breeze entered Dragon’s cave with a whoosh, and tickled Dragon’s nose. Dragon blinked once, twice, three times, smiling at the gentle wakening. It had been a wonderful nap. Dragon stretched and rolled off their mossy bed, feeling refreshed and ready for whatever the autumn afternoon had in store.
Dragon walked out of the cave. Sunshine hugged them, spilling through the falling leaves and bare branches of the trees. With eyes closed, Dragon smiled and took a deep Dragon Breath in and out. Feeling relaxed, Dragon began an afternoon walk through the forest. The crunch of fallen leaves beneath their feet accompanied the cheerful noises coming from the town nearby. It sounded like something interesting was happening at the park! Curious about the sounds, Dragon decided to head toward the edge of the forest to see what was happening.

Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 3:28
A Borrowed Book Excerpt:
It was a warm and sunny day on Ahway Island, and soft rays of sunlight streamed through the window of a cozy little house. In an upstairs bedroom, Bea the book sat on the bed with her little boy as he flipped through her pages. Bea was a thick, hardcover book, containing many different stories and beautiful illustrations. Today, the little boy was halfway through a tale about an underwater kingdom.
Bea loved being read by the little boy. She loved the way he turned her pages carefully and traced his finger over the words. As the little boy read her story, Bea felt warm and happy, knowing that she was bringing joy to him.

Chris and Jared are about to watch a fun pirate movie when the power suddenly goes out! What will they do to pass the time?
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 4:03
Pirate Plunder Excerpt:
It was a very bright, blustery evening on Ahway Island. Giant gusts of wind whipped through the neighborhood, causing the leaves in the trees to rustle loudly. Clouds drifted quickly across the sky, and birds stayed close to the ground.
Jared and his big brother Chris sat in their living room after dinner. They peeked out of their window blinds, watching the trees lean from side to side in the wind. Chris turned to Jared and said, “This is incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever seen wind like this before.”

Grover Gecko gets a bit jealous that Caden Chameleon is better at hide and seek, but Paulina Palm Tree helps him appreciate that everyone has their own strengths.
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 3:42
Grateful Gecko Excerpt:
Grover Gecko had spent the morning by his favorite spot on Ahway Island’s beach, lounging beneath the shade of Paulina Palm Tree. Today had been an unusually busy day at the beach. Though the sun shined hot and bright, fluffy clouds drifted lazily across the sky, offering brief moments of refreshing shade. A gentle sea breeze carried a light mist, adding to the perfect beach weather.
To Grover, it certainly seemed like seemed like everyone on Ahway Island had come to the beach. It was bustling with activity. Children laughing, seagulls squawking, waves crashing…Grover wasn’t in the mood for all that noise today. He wanted a nap and a quiet place to enjoy it. So, he decided to walk over to the nearby forest, searching for a nice, serene spot to rest.

Owen enjoys the first snowfall of the season by going sledding with a new friend.
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 9:34
First Snowfall Excerpt:
According to the calendar, the first official day of winter wouldn’t come for another month, but to Owen, it seemed that winter had definitely arrived in his neighborhood! Overnight, the first snow of the season had fallen all across Ahway Island, covering the neighborhoods, forests, and beaches with a thick blanket of snow.
Fluffy white flakes piled on top of each other on the window sill as Owen gazed outside. He watched, entranced, as more and more flakes slowly floated down to the ground, covering the snow that had fallen overnight with ever-thickening sheets across the front lawn. Owen smiled. He had always loved falling snow, and the first snow of the year was always a particularly joyous event. He knew that when he went outside, he would experience that special, quiet hush unique to a world covered with freshly fallen snow.

Callie and Anora make a game out of picking dandelions in the yard and discover that even the simplest things can be beautiful and exciting.
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 3:45
Mysterious Masks Excerpt:
Allie stared out the window of the car as she watched the world pass by. Bright yellow, orange, and red leaves danced in the wind as they fell from the trees. In the front seat, her dad hummed a happy tune as he drove. Today, Allie was heading to the park to play with her friends Lydia, Andy, Owen, and Raj, and she couldn’t wait to see them.
The car glided smoothly down the road, and soon Allie and her dad arrived at the park. When she stepped out of the car, something caught Allie’s eye: there was a vibrant poster hanging on the community bulletin board. It had a purple background with smiling orange pumpkins on it, and large, white text.

Dandelion Bouquets Excerpt:
It was a bright and sunny morning on Ahway Island. Sunlight glittered on the trees as butterflies fluttered from flower to flower in the front yard of the Kim house. A flock of energetic finches chirped away in the trees, singing a happy tune as they basked in the warm breeze on this beautiful morning.
Callie listened to the melody of the birds as she gazed out the front door of her house, pondering what she and her dad were going to do today. She was sitting on the floor, practicing tying her shoes. Being able to tie your own shoes was challenging, and she wanted to show her dad that she could do it all by herself.
