In the art supply store on Ahway Island, a little family of paint markers sat on the shelf, waiting to be selected. They were seven colors all together: black, red, yellow, blue, orange, green, and purple.

As they waited in their pouch, hoping to be purchased, the markers liked to spend time guessing who would one day choose them.
