I dive into the history of social networking, what it was intended to be used for when it was first created, how quickly it has transformed our world, and how over the years it has changed from its intention. I speak from my experience of using social media, and then taking a 75 day hiatus away from the platforms to give insight on my new views of these powerful online organisms.
