The Journey to Mediumship is not one that is linear for myself or my friend Michael. According to Michael, if you were to tell him he was a medium even just 8 years ago, there would be no way that he would even consider it possible.

The more professional mediums I Interview for this podcast the more I hear that talking to discarnate souls was not something that they even considered to pursue as a profession. And as with Michael, there are some now professional mediums that did not believe they were mediums until they started to be more open to it.

It’s also apparent that for those of us living as professional mediums that we may not have realized we could connect to the spirit world. It seems we are often led to mediumship through profound tragic situations. Is it the tragedy that provides the connection or have we been connected all along and didn’t consider it until that was all we had left to consider?
