This week we speak with William Brennan and Logan Sidle from New Haven, CT, who are collectively known as Robot Monster! In early 2020, Will and Logan used IG and Tiktok to unleash a series of viral videos of them playing venues like backyards and wrecking yards, quickly catching the attention of thousands of followers (including Skrillex, and Fred Durst). Soon, producer Jaquire King (Buddy Guy, Kings of Leon, Tom Waits) threw them into a studio, and before long, their debut album was released on all streaming platforms. They have recently announced a tour with The Bronx and Drug Church but they took a little time to chat with me about how it all started and where it’s going. Will and Logan are ready for whatever comes next, and it couldn’t have happened to two nicer guys!
