Retelling the Bible

7.7 Petronius’ Very Bad Weeks

Listen Later

This is the story of the events of Holy Week (Palm Sunday through Easter) as seen through the eyes of one of the Roman officials.

This same official then later plays a key role in an event that threatens the survival of the Judean nation.

Based on the story of the passion of Jesus in the Gospels, on the Gospel of Peter and on passages from Josephus and Philo.
