This week we discuss Robert Egger's The Lighthouse. A re-envisioned version of Edgar Allen Poe's unfinished short story of the same name, The Lighthouse casts us into 1890s New England. We follow Ephraim Winslow/Thomas Howard (Robert Pattinson) and Thomas Wake (Willem Dafoe), who have just arrived for a 4-week Vickie assignment. Full of symbolism, mythology, and psychoanalytic themes, this film will surely have you second-guessing what is real. But is The Lighthouse Good?
