Society today makes us think it’s admirable or aspirational to be a perfectionist, but I’m here to tell you that that’s not actually the case. Perfectionism is far from a badge of honor - it’s actually a shield of fear that many people wear and use as a method of standing on the sidelines. That’s what I’m talking about in this insightful episode.
We all have goals, but if we do nothing to pursue them, then that’s ultimately a failure, right? The idea of perfectionism robs many of the chance to learn, grow, and take steps towards their dream life. All because they’re too busy perfecting their skills, their messaging, their service, or their product into oblivion. Don’t let that happen to you.
Here’s what I talk about in relation to this topic:
I hope this episode inspires you to stop being fearful of failure or what people will say about you. Rid yourself of the idea that everyone’s watching you or that if you get it wrong, people will have something to say. Once you eradicate those fears, you can truly pursue what REAL perfectionism is.
