Before You Bloom is honoured to bring you the inspiring story of Morgan, a 25-year-old stroke survivor and AVM advocate. At just 18, Morgan was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a condition that drastically changed her life. 18 out of 100,000 people have an AVM. Then, at 22, she experienced a life-altering stroke that left her with right-side paralysis and aphasia.
In this heartfelt episode, Morgan courageously takes us back to the moment she first learned about her AVM and what it was like living with the uncertainty of her condition. She shares the profound challenges she faced after her stroke, from surgeries and physical therapy to the emotional toll of recovery.
