In today's episode I interview another one of the SUGARx Global founders, Cynthia Myers-Morrison. Cynthia is a Certified Food Addiction Counselor and offers the SUGAR Assessment to assist people in determining if they are struggling with sugar/food, based on ICD or DSM criteria for Substance Use. She is Certified and Licensed to do this assessment. She has been in Food Addiction Recovery for over 49 years and now shares her wisdom gained from 22 continuous years free from grains, sugar, and alcohol. Cynthia is passionate in her commitment to the field of Food Addiction. She has dedicated the last 22 years to organizations and people interested in recovery from food addiction. To her professional studies at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and International Food Addiction Counseling Training, and her Bitten Jonsson’s Holistic…. Cynthia has added her personal success letting go of nearly 100 pounds for more than 22 years.
She has participated in the development of literature to increase possible resources for those not yet served. THE FIX for cravings with her colleague Dave Wolfe RD offers the A team to create a chosen food plan and life choices to eliminate cravings and transform your life. The dozens of stories present a variety of experiences of food addiction.
