What God says about bad relationships through the book of Proverbs:
Proverbs 16:28-29 28 A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends. 29 A violent person entices their neighbor and leads them down a path that is not good.
Proverbs 1:10-11 10 My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them. 11 If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood, let’s ambush some harmless soul;
Proverbs 20:19 19 A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much.
Proverbs 22:24-25 24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, 25 or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.
Proverbs 14:7 7 Stay away from a fool, for you will not find knowledge on their lips. Proverbs 13:19-21 19 A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools detest turning from evil. 20 Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.
One thing is clear, God wants you to be surrounded with positive people. Remember clarity and calm is of God but confusion and stress isn't. A confusing relationship is a situationship, and that's not Gods will for you.
