Today I'm joined by Professor Claire Macken. Claire is the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Learning and Teaching at RMIT University College of Business and Law - her insights and experience are every bit as long as her professional title. Highlighting only a few, Claire was Director Education at KPMG and prior to that worked at Apple in their Industry Higher Ed solutions team. Claire was also the Pro Vice Chancellor of Future Learning at Latrobe University and held several previous roles at Deakin University. She holds an MBA from the University of Canberra and a PHD from Deakin following her undergrad studies in law from the same institution. Claire is an author of several books and a mother of 3 amazing kids - a prolific writer, a deep thinker, always candid and sometimes controversial, Claire is a friend, former colleague and someone I deeply respect in the world of Higher Education.
Dedicated to better learning and outcomes for students, Claire and I discuss:
I fumble around through this conversation struggling to find my words, but Claire somehow manages to pick up my conversational threads, and as always delivers remarkable insights - listen carefully because there is much more said than one can digest on first pass.
With nothing else to add, I bring you Professor Claire Macken.
