8-Bit Eric on Odysee

Highguard didn’t add 5v5 because it was planned — they added it because players were leaving. Just days after launch, this desperation update exposes how bad things really are.

Rest of description:
Highguard launched with massive maps and a slow 3v3 mode that immediately turned players off. Steam reviews dropped, player counts fell, and complaints flooded in about empty matches and boring pacing.

Now, just four days later, the developers added a limited-time 5v5 mode — a clear panic move to stop the bleeding. Instead of committing to a permanent fix, they’re treating the solution like a weekend experiment.

In this video, we cover:

Why Highguard’s launch went wrong

Why 3v3 never worked on these maps

Why 5v5 should’ve been there on day one

Why making it limited-time screams desperation

What this means for Highguard’s future

This isn’t “listening to feedback.”
This is damage control.

👇 Is 5v5 enough to save Highguard, or is it already too late?

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag didn’t just age well — it exposed how far Ubisoft has fallen.

Back then, Ubisoft made games around fun, freedom, and the rule of cool.
Now? Corporate design. Safe mechanics. Endless checklists. And games that feel built for shareholders, not players.

In this video, we break down:

Why Black Flag still feels better than modern Assassin’s Creed

How Ubisoft abandoned player-first design

What ex-developers say about internal priorities

Why recent games feel soulless compared to the classics

And what modern AAA studios can learn before it’s too late

If you ever loved Assassin’s Creed, or you’re wondering why Ubisoft keeps stumbling, this explains the real problem.

💬 Was Black Flag the peak… or can Ubisoft recover?

Nintendo just did something that makes absolutely no sense.

In Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, Nintendo added same-sex relationships and nonbinary gender options directly into a game marketed to children — while at the same time continuing to censor and restrict games in the name of being “family friendly.”

This wasn’t accidental.

Back in 2014, Nintendo faced massive activist backlash over the original Tomodachi Life. After petitions and media pressure, Nintendo publicly apologized and promised future changes. Over a decade later, those exact demands are now being implemented — raising serious questions about ideology, censorship, and whether this belongs in a kids game at all.

In this video, we break down:

Why Nintendo made this change now

The 2014 activist pressure fans forgot about

The contradiction between censorship and ideology

Why this doesn’t belong front and center in a children’s game

What this means for Nintendo’s future titles

Nintendo claims to protect kids — but their actions tell a very different story.

Xbox just admitted why Switch 2 keeps getting left behind… and it’s worse than people think.

Forza. Fable. Indiana Jones.
Some launch day one on PlayStation.
Others skip Nintendo entirely.

Now Xbox Game Studios has finally explained what’s happening behind the scenes — and it exposes how messy their multi-platform strategy really is.

In this video, we break down:

Why Xbox games don’t launch everywhere at the same time

What actually determines day-one vs delayed ports

How Switch 2 hardware is changing development decisions

Why Indiana Jones is the real performance test

And what Xbox showing up at the next Nintendo Direct could mean

If you care about Xbox, Switch 2, PlayStation, or the future of console exclusives, this explains what’s really going on.

💬 Which Xbox game should come to Switch 2 first — Forza or Fable?
