Nintendo Switch 2 reviews are overwhelmingly negative—and the console isn’t even out yet. Early listings for the Switch 2 at Target have racked up hundreds of 1-star reviews, not because of the hardware… but because of the frustrating preorder experience that left thousands of fans empty-handed.

In this video, we break down exactly why Nintendo Switch 2 reviews are so bad at Target, what went wrong during the preorder launch, and why customers are venting their anger through review bombs. With Switch 2 review scores tanking below 2.5 stars, shoppers are expressing deep frustration over crashing websites, failed orders, and a chaotic rollout that many say ruined the excitement for Nintendo’s next-gen console.

With Nintendo Switch 2 Game Keys replacing full cartridges, physical media as we know it could be coming to an end — and here’s why that matters. Nintendo might have just fired the final shot in the war against physical game collectors. In this video, we’re diving deep into the latest controversy surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2 and the rise of Game Keys — physical cards that unlock digital downloads instead of offering a real cartridge with the game on it.

What started with a few third-party listings in Japan has now blown up into a clear trend: games like Bravely Default, Yakuza Zero, and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 are being sold in boxes… with no actual game on the cartridge. That’s right — even small games that could easily fit on a cart are ditching physical media for digital-only distribution.

Why third-party publishers are moving away from cartridges

Nintendo's role in this shift (and how CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 is the rare exception)

How this impacts game preservation, ownership, and resale value

Why physical game collectors should be concerned

Will Japan’s physical media-loving audience push back?

We’re watching the end of physical games on Nintendo systems in real time, and this could have massive consequences for the future of game collecting, retro preservation, and consumer ownership rights.

📦 These Game Keys might come in a box, but make no mistake: they are not physical games. Once servers go down, those downloads go with them. If you care about owning your games, playing offline, and preserving video game history, this video is a must-watch.

👀 Let us know: Will you still buy the Nintendo Switch 2 if it means saying goodbye to real physical games?

The Nintendo Switch 2 preorder disaster is the stuff of modern legend. Preorders finally went live… and instantly imploded harder than a Joy-Con drift lawsuit. From Target randomly canceling orders to Walmart throwing people into a digital void of “technical issues,” trying to buy a Switch 2 at launch was like fighting a Dark Souls boss with a blindfold on.

In this video, we break down the entire Nintendo Switch 2 preorder mess, why Target and Walmart couldn’t handle the hype, and how fans were left staring at spinning checkout wheels at 12AM sharp. If you thought getting a PS5 was bad—hoo boy, Nintendo said “hold my mushroom.”

Nintendo just officially announced the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order date for the United States and Canada, and it's causing quite a stir. In this video, I break down everything you need to know about Nintendo Switch 2 pricing, accessories, and pre-order details, including the potential red flags that many fans are noticing.

With Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders starting April 24, 2025, there's a lot to unpack—especially with the Nintendo Switch 2 price set at $449.99 and the bundle priced at $499.99. But what's really grabbing attention is the massive price increase on Switch 2 accessories. We're talking $95 for a Joy-Con pair, $85 for the Pro Controller, $40 charging grip, and an outrageous $85 all-in-one carrying case. Is Nintendo trying to price out its own fanbase?

In this video, I provide a nuanced analysis of the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order announcement, how tariffs might affect hardware and accessory costs, and whether or not Switch 2 accessory prices are justified. I also question the implications behind Nintendo saying prices may change "depending on market conditions"—does this open the door for Nintendo Switch 2 games to become more expensive in the future?

This isn’t just a rant—it’s a real discussion about Nintendo Switch 2 pricing strategy, the potential impact on gamers, and whether early adopters are getting the short end of the stick.
