Robert Danisch is the chair and an associate professor of the Communication Arts department at the University of Waterloo. He teaches courses in communication Ethics, Speech Writing, Persuasion, Small Group Communication, and Public Communication. He's the host of the podcast "Now We're Talking" and author of the book What Effect Have I Had? 100 Communication Practices to be a Better Partner, Teammate, Writer, Speaker, and Leader. We cover a variety of topics including defining what communication is, common communication mistakes people make, the transferability of communication skills, and how the virtual world is impacting our ability to communicate with one another.
