Dr. Cykert received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his residency from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in internal medicine. Dr. Cykert is board certified in internal medicine. After completing his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr Cykert played as a guitarist in a rock band. After touring the east coast for over twelve years, he entered medical school at the age of 33. Dr Cykert now resides in Spartanburg, SC with his wife and their son. He practices at the Medical Group of the Carolinas - Westside Internal Medicine which is a part of the Spartanburg Regional Health System.
