Today's episode is about scheduling, prioritizing, routine, and finding that peace within your life. So that you can plan your life and dreams like a go-getter!
A lot of us struggle with prioritizing, setting aside time for ourselves without our kiddos, husbands or significant others, and that is a problem. It leaves you feeling drained and ultimately burns you out girl. That is why I created a planner that helps you take care of yourself while taking care of what you need to do each day.
In our Go-Getter Girl Planner, we have a morning routine planning section, because without a plan we have nothing right? It is so easy to say "I am going to start waking up 15 min earlier and do my morning routine", but you end up snoozing your alarm or don't know what to do so end up sitting on Instagram. That is where our morning routine section comes in.
A morning routine can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, but I want you first to focus on setting up a space for yourself. Don't just sit at your kitchen table, I want you to have a space and you do not need a glorious office you just gotta enjoy what you are doing in the morning. You do not need to do any certain tasks for a successful morning routine, you don't have to do yoga, you don't have to do meditation or read. Ultimately it is just your time, do whatever you need at this time. But without a plan there is no progress, so get your planner and manifest your dreams!
Whatever it is, it is setting that time specifically aside for yourself. So many of us say we are going to do this but we don't do it because we don't make a plan. For some people, a morning routine is not what works. If this is you, then building a nighttime routine is best for you. I personally encourage both, I have a morning routine and evening routine. My evening routine is just reading before bed and that helps me so much.
You can not be the best version of your self until you are making time for yourself until you are filling your own cup. So if you are a hustler, or at the top of your company and are like I don’t have time for that. You do, it is just a choice. But remember, there is always tomorrow and it is ok to take a step back to refill your cup.
