Your outer world will always mirror your inner world.
Even though people can't hear your inner thoughts, they can feel them. Adjusting how you speak to yourself and what goes on in your inner world is vitally important if you want to create a life where you thrive.
A constant, negative inner dialogue stops the flow of joy. It keeps us bogged down in guilt and feeling we’re not good enough for the things we want. But the voice in your head is not who you are. We can train ourselves to bring more positivity and joy into our lives.
Today I’m chatting with my good friend, Anna Goldstein, about managing your inner critic. Anna helps people to overcome the roadblocks that prevent them from moving forward in their life and career, and she’s here to talk about the connection between finding your joy and working with your inner critic. In this conversation, we talk about what exactly our inner critic is, why awareness alone isn’t enough to change the inner voices, steps you can take to manage your inner critic, practices you can incorporate into your life, how coaching can help you to shift your perspective, and more. Let's pull joy in together!
