“I am Rubber, You Are Glue. Your words will bounce off me and stick to you”. You HAVE TO recall this epic burn. Maybe you were on the playground….OR hanging out with your cousins….playing video games…playing street kick ball…or just plain kicking it with your friends, and they would spew something hurtful.  Whatever names or words that punk used in an attempt to offend or insult you – those words just ricocheted straight off and stick to the name caller themselves – indicating that he or she is actually indicative of the connotation he or she originally imparted on you.   You were immune - or at least you felt it! 

While insults may look a little differently today, as an adult, why have we lost that sense of immunity?  We find that these insults, this criticism  often parading itself as feedback.  Let's talk feedback vs criticism, and how to build immunity to non-constructive opinions!
