Birthday shit!

This topic came up just as we were about to start recording the episode.

It was Anaelle’s birthday the next day, and we found ourselves in a heated discussion about birthday rituals in couplehood. 

Growing up in different environments and cultures, birthday celebrations are another area in which we experience and expect things differently from one another. 

We spoke about love languages and the way we each see the value of rituals and intentions in celebrating birthdays, the tension around this day, and the expectations. 

This is another classic example of how we can fall into a heated discussion, where we both want to make a point about the way we see things.
