The 1950s. A spike in the population, incredible economic growth, and diners in every direction made the 1950s a year of prosperity and happiness for most Americans. Cheaper televisions were a bonus, signaling the start of the Golden Age of Television. And what was the cherry on top of the cake? The Cold War.
