In this episode I wanted to give you an honest look into some of the things that I’ve been struggling with and found most challenging following my most recent competitive season on the natural body building stage.
After competing now in 3 separate seasons over the last 4 years, I thought I was pretty well set up for what to expect post comp this time around. But it definitely hasn’t all been smooth sailing and I’m learning that no comp prep or post comp phase will ever be the same.
This wasn’t an easy episode for me to record as I do have high expectations of myself and I feel I’ve fallen short of these with the post-comp phase not playing out exactly as I’d planned. But we are all human, life will always be a work in progress and I am learning that sometimes I need to cut myself a little grace.
I hope you enjoy it, and if you’re someone who has ever experienced something similar, I hope you take reassurance from this that you’re not alone.
