~ Praying in the cold water on the coldest day ~

1月20日は、1年で最も寒い日と言われる「大寒」という日でした。

この日は、各地で「大寒みそぎ」というイベントが行われます。

朝ベッドから出るのすら勇気がいる私にとっては、この寒さの中、水の中に入ることは尊敬でしかありません。

皆さんは試してみたいと思いましたか？

いちがつ はつかは、いちねんで もっとも さむいひと いわれる「だいかん」という ひでした。

このひは、かくちで「だいかん みそぎ」という いべんとが おこなわれます。

あさ べっどから でるのすら ゆうきがいる わたしに とっては、

この さむさの なか、みずの なかに はいることは そんけいでしか ありません。

みなさんは ためしてみたいと おもいましたか？

January 20th is the day called “Daikan”, which means the most coldest day of the year.

On this day, the event called “Daikan misogi” are held in many different areas.

For me, it takes courage to even get out of bed in the morning,

so I respect a lot for them getting into the water in this cold weather.

They go into the cold water to purify their body and pray for their healthy and safety life.

（そんけいでしか ありません。）

＝とても尊敬します。

/ I respect that very much.
