We are always either expanding or contracting. While contracting isn’t the end of hope with respect to moving towards our goals, it is a slippery slope that might cause us to be self-punishing which leads to feeling helpless and increases the chances of becoming less interested in expanding. Therefore, you have to push yourself in small steps towards your youthful, curious persona that we are all born with and do it just for you and your own expansion because what you don’t know is always more important that what you do know.
