Marcelo Bielsa makes 11 changes for this league cup tie against League One Hull City (Tigers). Plenty of optimism pre-match, with talk of Europe and a chance to play their way into first team plans. 

Plenty of glimpses of what players can do, but a torrid night overall as Leeds trail for 85 minutes, and despite drawing the tie, go on to lose on penalties. There were lots of talking points including a captains role for Kiko Casilla, but ultimately a night that will not live long in the memory. 

Back to the Premier League on Saturday for a game against Fulham, I fancy there might just be 11 changes again.
