Make sure that your presentations aren't as predictable as everybody else's – in other words you start off by saying who you are, who your company is and then you go on to talk about what you do, you might take a few questions and then you say thank you and sit down.
So use Stoptober to pledge to do things differently which could include using a lot less slides and more props, talking about your audience yourself, talking about the issues they have not your company, showing ideas that will help them not things that are good for you, finishing your presentation with a challenge to your audience and adding a PS at the end of your presentation.
