Here is a special Olympic summer edition of Retelling the Bible -- telling a story related to an Olympic event. This story is about the Javelin Throw.
Absalom hangs by his hair in an oak tree awaiting his fate. This gives him a lot of time to think about what has brought him to such a state.
Based on 2 Samuel 13-18.
