May is Mental Health Awareness month, and, as many of you will know, mental health plays a huge role both in both my personal and professional lives, so in today’s episode we’re going to dig down deep on it. I have purposely saved this episode for the end of the month with the intent that we all will take to heart the information and advice presented to ensure that we make this important topic a priority not just for one month each year, but that we continue to shine the light on it each and every day of every year.
I begin by reviewing mental health’s impact on virtually everything in our lives, my experiences with it in my own life, and the importance of raising awareness and education about mental illnesses. We’ll also look at the impact the pandemic has had upon people’s mental health and then explore the ways to consistently support mental health each and every day, complete with 5 mental health supports you can begin implementing in your own life immediately. Mental health is so critically important in everyone’s life and it’s crucial to remember that getting help with it is just as critical. Today, I offer some ideas that can definitely start you on the road toward achieving it, but, as always, do not hesitate to seek out assistance from other qualified professionals should you ever feel the need – it changed my life and can do the same for you.
Once again, enrollment is open for an Ascend Mastermind this month, which, in response to some valuable feedback I’ve received, will now be a six month program. If you’re a high achieving entrepreneur or high level professional who is ready to uplevel your health and well-being (mental, emotional, physical) while creating and pursuing goals you actually want then this Mastermind is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll get to strengthen your habits, get clear on what you want and be held accountable by, and find support among like-minded women as you ascend. And don’t forget, if there is ever a topic you would like me to discuss or a guest you’d like me to interview on the podcast, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] - I would love to hear from you!
