Tonight I’ll be reading experiences with gnomes! The stories are collected from Reddit, Your Ghost Stories, and the Fairy Census and are alleged to be real encounters by their authors. The beings encountered in these stories are similar but also in many ways different. While they all have the general appearance of a very small human, the details differ. Some wear pointed hats, some have pointed teeth; some are going about their workday and others are ice skating! You’ll find that these stories permeate through many different cultures and locations around the world, be it in folklore or personal experience, and I’ve tried to showcase this in tonight’s episode. I have encounters from the US, Fiji, Sweden, the UK, as well as anecdotal accounts from Mexico, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
✶ This is my second episode featuring gnome encounters, so if you want to hear part one, click here.
✶ If you want to hear the episode where I talk about orang bunian (Malaysian elves), click here.
