A common 'quote' often seen on Linked In is the one that suggests people don't leave companies they leave managers. Sales management is a highly skilled task that is often given to the 'best or longest serving salesperson' rather than the one most likely to be the best sales leader. Sales managers are often under trained and supported.In this episode I'm reflecting on the Sales Manager types I've encountered - and potentially the ones I've been - over the last 35 years.
