Andrea Berryman Childreth is the author of 'On the Edge: Help and Hope for Parenting Children with Mental Illness." Andrea wrote this book after struggling to find resources in her own journey of raising a child with a neurological disorder and mental illness. She also the founder of blog "Bipolar Lemonade."

In this conversation, she shares her experience, why early intervention is so critical, finding a new normal with mental illness and some tangible tips to help a child with mental illness cope.
