Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then key in on verse 21 - No grave trouble will overtake the righteous, But the wicked shall be filled with evil. Friends, if you have received Jesus as your risen Lord and Savior the verse promises that no grave trouble will overtake you - what a beautiful promise! Conversely, the second part of that verse says that the wicked will be filled with evil. I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of having any evil inside of me! On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. Before we begin today's lesson I will review the three points I brought up on Thursday's podcast (Thursday's lesson was Episode #853 - If you did not get a chance to tune in to that podcast I invite you to check it out). We will then pick up where we left off on Thursday's lesson - beginning in Chapter 17, verse 28, and going through verse 37. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. The day of the Son of Man will be a time of total judgement.
2. Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
3. Each person will stand before God alone.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 12:21; Luke 17:28-37; Genesis 19:16;24;29; 1 Thessalonians 4:17
Call to Action - where are you at in this process? Have you received Jesus as your risen Lord and Savior?
