It has been a rough few months, and more so a rough 2 weeks. I haven't been up to it mentally during that time period, and while I'm still going thru some stuff, I am getting better. We all have been thru it this year. All kinds of life change trauma, but the fact that you are still here shows that you deserve a hug or self five. Keep fighting on.

Well it has been 3 long, hard months, but I am back with a longer than usual episode that just barely scrapes the surface of issues we're dealing with in sweet T&T. Compounded by the global problems, we in Trinbago need to show our unity and strength that the working class has. Power of our pockets. High food prices, high fuel prices, increasing transportation prices, and overall increasing stress.

Sometimes it is good to trust that gut feeling we all get from time to time. Our personal spidey sense. It saved my last week from thousands of dollars worth of damage due to rain, however it taught me a valuable lesson. Weighting the pros and cons before making a decision, even if that was just to go and lime.

How can 1 group of people be so disconnected from the very society they "represent"? After the mental strain of pandemic and it's various lockdowns, now isn't the time to add financial strain on the population all in the name profit. Now isn't the time to break the backs of the very people you said you wanted to saved. Now is the time, however, to move forward from the way we worked into the future.

With Trinidad and Tobago set to remove most of their covid 19 restrictions today, Monday 4th April 2022, the attention shifts now to prices increasing yet salaries are stagnant, and more so losing buying power and therefore losing value. The one bright spot we have seen coming out of this pandemic is however, is the power of our pockets. We can decide where to spend OUR money to get the most out of it and if the merchants fail to appease us, then we move on. They need us just as we need, most, of them. Spend wisely.
