Do you ever have that experience when you get together with people (eh hem, family) and they seem stuck on stories from an old version of you? It's amazing how being around certain people can jet us back to an age, or time period in our life, that feels challenging.
During a recent visit with family, I found these stories quickly resurfacing and it was the first time I sat and listened with neutral curiosity. Lemme tell you, it was empowering.
