I've learnt lot of things in 2019 summarised as follows:
1. Keep on learning – it doesn't matter what position you are in the company you can still learn – never think you know everything and you don't need to worry about knowing anything more – and if you organise learning for our team such as sales training day recognise that sales training days are not a magic bullet and you need to follow it up and keep the momentum generated going.
2. Keep working hard – the people I work with who really make significant progress whether in the sales or presenting environment or the ones who prepare well for their sales call their presentation and practice it.
3. Believe it can happen – visualising success helps us overcome any doubts we have and helps us stop thinking negatively.
4. See interacting with people as a key business skill – customers, colleagues, team members, big bosses there all people and if you work on your people skills your opportunity for success will rise.
This is the final podcast of 2019 so big thanks to everyone who has listened in, who has left a review, who has shared the podcast and to my team behind-the-scenes who help make this happen every Monday. I'll be back with the next episode on January 6th.
