While it may seem impossible to achieve a debt free life, you will. It took me 23 years to pay off my $1.3M school loans and then 7 years to pay off the $1.3M it cost to send my daughter to college and graduate school.

But now I choose to have a car loan with a new job (tax implications) and it's nice to have the choice rather than the need.
