Listen Later

A husband must represent Christ as the head of his household. He can neither be a wimp ruled by his wife nor a dogma brute who controls by force.  The nature of Jesus was to be firm and resolute in his convictions, yet compassionate and tender in their application.  Brother Singh stresses patience. A husband & father must grant the time necessary for his wife and children to submit to his godly authority willingly.

"If a pastor goes spiritually blind, he can only lead a blind congregation," he warns, "and both shall fall in the ditch." (Matthew 15:14) A pastor must be flexible in his administration yet not compromise with evil. Comparing a congregation to a wife, Paul's great concern was"that, as the serpent deceived Eve through his subtlety, the minds of the those in the assembly be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. (2 Corinthians 13:11:3)
