Huwa is a spoken word poet and voice over artist. She runs a podcasts called The Spoken World which serves as a platform from literary artists from across the globe to share their inspiration and journey.
She's learnt, almost three years later, that when we tell those stories, it really doesn't matter where we're from because we are really not as different as we like to think we are. She is based in Nigeria, West Africa.

A statement from Huwa:
"Too many women are getting raped in our communities. About time we talked about the problem, men feel too entitled to women's bodies. We need to take back our power, our dignity, our respect, our rights. When we say Men need to do better, we aren't saying that all men are bad. We are saying too many good men do nothing."
